Packers Consider Pro Bowl RB Amid Uncertainty Surrounding Josh Jacobs
Josh Jacobs has been removed from the NFL's commissioner’s exempt list as of October 19, allowing him to practice and participate in games.

Josh Jacobs has been removed from the NFL’s commissioner’s exempt list as of October 19, allowing him to practice and participate in games. However, the Green Bay Packers have not confirmed his participation in the upcoming game against Detroit on October 25, while Chris Brooks is currently on injured reserve.
According to Bleacher Report analyst Kristopher Knox, Tony Pollard from Tennessee might be an attractive option for the Packers. Although no trade discussions have been disclosed, Pollard’s previous Pro Bowl experience and versatility could benefit Green Bay’s backfield, where they are still adjusting after acquiring Kaleb Johnson from the Steelers for a sixth-round draft pick.
MarShawn Lloyd has emerged as a candidate to take on a larger role, but he will still need to compete for carries. Meanwhile, Jacobs’s ongoing legal situation complicates the backfield dynamics, and the NFL continues its investigation following his no-contest plea.
