LAS VEGAS, NV — A large-scale operation against gang violence and drug trafficking in the Las Vegas Valley led to the arrest of 144 individuals, as announced by federal prosecutors and local law enforcement officials on Saturday. This initiative, called Operation Loaded Dice, involved collaboration among multiple agencies, including the U.S. Marshals Service, FBI, ATF, DEA, and the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department (LVMPD).
The operation targeted gangs associated with violent repeat offenders, illegal ghost-gun manufacturing, and street-level narcotics distribution linked to international drug cartels. Law enforcement executed high-risk search warrants across various areas, resulting in the confiscation of illegal firearms, counterfeit fentanyl pills, large quantities of methamphetamine, and significant amounts of illicit cash. Authorities emphasized that this operation aimed to send a clear warning to criminals in Southern Nevada.
