Boyd Gaming Elevates UNLV Alum to Senior Vice President of Operations

Rick Goldstein has been promoted to the position of senior vice president of operations at Boyd Gaming, as announced on LinkedIn. In this capacity, he will manage operations for the Suncoast, Aliante, and Cannery hotel-casinos.

A graduate of UNLV, Goldstein brings over a decade of experience with Boyd Gaming and more than 30 years of overall gaming industry expertise. He first joined the company in 2016, taking on the role of assistant general manager at Kansas Star Casino in Wichita, and was subsequently elevated in 2023 to vice president and general manager at Suncoast.

Goldstein will continue to act as general manager for Suncoast, located near Summerlin, while also overseeing Aliante and Cannery. Boyd Gaming acquired Coast Casinos, including Suncoast, in 2004 for $1.3 billion, and purchased Aliante from Station Casinos in 2016 for $380 million.
