LAS VEGAS, Nev. — As early voting for the 2026 midterm elections kicks off in Nevada, the National Republican Congressional Committee (NRCC) has launched a new digital advertising initiative aimed at Rep. Dina Titus. The campaign, which started on October 17, emphasizes issues surrounding taxes and gasoline prices that resonate with Nevada voters.
The advertisement portrays Titus negatively, with the narrator claiming, “Dina Titus loves taxes. She never met a tax she didn’t like.” The ad highlights Titus’s previous comments about the need to raise gas taxes, along with accusations of her supporting higher taxation on tips, overtime pay, and Social Security benefits. The NRCC asserts that Titus’s tax policies could burden Nevada taxpayers by more than $4,000 each year. This digital campaign aligns with the Republican strategy focusing on affordability and Titus’s extensive public service record.
