Paul Kim, a resident of Las Vegas, was sentenced to 60 months in prison on October 14, 2026, for setting fire to vehicles at a Tesla Collision Center. The incidents occurred early on March 18, 2025, when Kim used a .300 Blackout AR-platform semiautomatic rifle to shoot exterior security cameras and subsequently targeted vehicles at the facility.

After throwing three Molotov cocktails, two detonated and caused fires, while a third failed to ignite. The act resulted in the destruction of five vehicles. Kim was tried and pled guilty to multiple charges, including arson and unlawful possession of an unregistered firearm, facing a significantly lower sentence than the recommended 20 years. The case drew attention from federal authorities, emphasizing the seriousness of domestic terrorism.
